NAK is a precipitation or age hardened mold steel. NAK Wire and rods are suitable for welding on NAK mold steels. These are typically NAK 80 and NAK 55. Used properly it will yield uniform hardness and excellent matching.
Typical Applications:
Plastic and rubber molds and other applications where impact resistance is not critical.
